What we do
We focus on mechanisms of the generation and regeneration of blood cells (hematopoiesis) from the embryo to the aged organism. Our lab aims at understanding the amazing functional potential of hematopoietic stem cells in steady-state and under inflammatory conditions using self-generated state-of-the-art model organisms. We focus on hematopoiesis in mice and humans.
